If so, you've come to the right place! Web Analytics Demystified is proud to be the first organization in the world to establish a regular and free research program covering the web analytics industry.

Our Approach

Our approach towards industry research is very simple: we believe that research should be free. Having worked as industry analysts in the past, our research team understands the value of good data; we simply don't believe that people should have to pay for it.

To this end we conduct a bi-annual practitioner research study of over 1,000 participants worldwide, and as frequently as we're able, we publish this analysis and provide the underlying data whenever possible.

Also, because Eric T. Peterson is such a frequent presenter at industry events and private conferences, we also strive to share his presentations. It is our core belief that everyone is better off when we make this information freely available, rather than putting it behind a firewall and charging people for access.

Our Research Tools

In addition to our published research and presentations, Web Analytics Demystified is developing a suite of powerful research tools for web analytics professionals. We currently have two available for public use:

1. The Vendor Discovery Tool, for accurately determining which hosted web analytics vendors are being used across the Internet
2. Our Salary Data Explorer, a companion to our annual report on web analytics salaries for drilling-down into reported salary data
